Bride: The Wedding Show touched down at Ascot Racecourse to inspire and excite hundreds of brides, grooms and their families
In its third year and set across two days, Bride: The Wedding Show at Ascot has grown in size each year and now spans two floors of the Pavilion at Ascot Racecourse.
Offering ideas and inspiration in an environment that harnesses the joy and excitement of wedding planning, the show welcomed over 90 exhibitors and almost 1,800 visitors – an increase of 34% year-on-year.
The commercial team exceeded both their sales target and ticket target, showcasing their exceptional efforts and the success of the Bride brand as it continues to go from strength to strength.
Portfolio Director, Debbie Macleod, said: “We are delighted with the response from both visitors and exhibitors over the weekend, with many visitors citing the event as the best wedding show they had visited all year and many exhibitors have already signed up to be part of the 2017 show. Special mention to Amy Stokes and Jason Harwood, the event sales team who worked so hard to get such a wide range of exhibitors at the event, and to Emma Davis who ran such a successful marketing campaign; a 34% growth in visitor numbers was a truly impressive achievement.”
Returning later this year, Bride: The Wedding Show reaches Westpoint Arena in Exeter from 8-9 October, where South West brides are invited to further and finalise their big day with the help of local suppliers.
